Yaay! -Tom's Blog 1

Hmmm... I've never written a blog before. Blogs seem to be mainly about small, menial things that happen to the person writing them, so here's my attempt:

Yaay! I now only have two weeks left before the summer holidays begin. And what's more, one of those is going to be spent doing fun things. Next week, our school is doing a so-called "Citizenship Week". How it relates in any conceivable way whatsoever to being a good citizen I have no idea. It involves activities like firing rockets; making short films; building a refugee camp on the field and other such unrelated things.

As Sixth Formers, we are required to "help out" for the equivalent of four days. What this basically means is that we get to join in with whatever the lower years are doing.

I chose to do something called "Job Hunt day", "Science Experiments", "Movie Maker" and "Science Experiments" again, so that should (hopefully) be fun-provided the kids in the lower years know roughly what to do.
