One thing for others to know about disfigurement

If there was one thing you wanted people to know about living with a disfigurement what would it be? What key message would you like to pass on to others who you might meet who don't know much about disfigurement?

One thing i would like others to know about disfigurment is that it not ok to stare, a look maybe, but no staring its just plain rude !!!!!

Well, the big big thing i'd like to tell others is just because we look different doesn't mean we don't keep up to date with the latest things such as, like fashion, beauty and TV Shows - because people look at me and think, 'I wouldn't ask her, don't think she'd know' and that's judging. So yeah, get talking to us and you'll see we're just like everyone else.
