I'm always 2 scared 2 ask a lad that I like out because I feel that he wont want to go out with me because of my appearance. And I know that appearance isnt everything, but it is when you're looking for a boy/girlfriend isnt it? I'd rather be single an happy then suffer the embarassment!

if you really have to ask someone out then go for it.
the worst they can say is no. no may seem like a harsh answer but at least you've had the guts and confidence to do it.
though personally if someone like me and asks me out, and of course i liked them back, id go out with them, but i'm not preferebly going to go hunting round for someone and go asking them out because chances are they'd say no, plus i cant do with the hassle. its not in my interests.

Oooh wouldn't it just be lovely to be able to have a partner who you can get to know and tell everything to?! ooh how we all long for Mr Right [or Mrs Right if you are a guy] to come through our doors and sweep us off our feet?! :D

No idea what i'd say to someone if I wanted them..
probs.. e-mail them? [if i had their address] or be brave and speak face2face

i always thought i was ugly because i have neurofibromatosis type one which includes a plexiform neurofibroma on my face which just swells it up a bit and i was always too shy to ask out girls in primary school but you know it doesnt really count then and i didn tunderstand that i was different if you get me, but i have had one seriousish relationship [9 months so quite serious in teenage terms lol] and im in a relationship at the moment with a girl that looks through my face into my personality. i know it sounds really cliched but there are decent guys and girls out there who will look for personality and are not shallow, you cant always tell with everyone if they like you or not but if you like someone and you think they're worth going for then i say just tell them you love them, but make sure you're decent friends first and you know that your looks don't bother them. i used to be very pessimsitic about it but now im optimistic and a lot more confident with my looks thanks to my girlfriend, so basically there is always hope
